Disney and Lucasfilm released the first trailer and poster for “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” a new Disney+ series premiering this year.

“Skeleton Crew” has been described as an Amblin-like coming-of-age adventure set in the New Republic era. Jude Law stars as Jod Na Nawood alongside Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Kerry Condon, and Nick Frost. Law took the stage at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to announce the trailer, which you can watch below.

Disney only recently announced that “Skeleton Crew” would premiere on December 3, 2024, with two episodes. It’s created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford One episode is directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the Oscar-winning directors of “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
