New episodes of Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends are on the way, and the preschool Marvel series is bringing in several interesting guest stars for its next story arc.

The new episodes will premiere Thursday, June 11, on Disney Jr. and Disney Jr. On Demand. The first 11 episodes will then be available to stream on Disney+ in the United States and select international markets beginning Friday, June 12.

The upcoming installments begin a new “Giant-Sized Armor” arc, which will see Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho face larger-scale challenges than ever before.

The new episodes will also introduce additional Marvel characters to the series, including the all-powerful Asgardian family of Thor, Loki, and Odin.

Odin, notably, will be voiced by Alan Ruck of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Succession fame.

At the risk of overshadowing these three Norse gods, Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts will also be joining the series as Dizzy Doubleday, a baseball player who helps children learn the sport.

Betts joins ESPN sportscaster and analyst Jessica Mendoza, who was previously announced as Dottie Doubleday, Dizzy’s sister and the owner of the local batting cage.

Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends follows young versions of Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho, who use their own Iron Suits to protect their city and solve problems together. The Disney Jr. series is aimed at preschool viewers and is rated TV-Y on Disney+.

The main voice cast includes Mason Blomberg and Lincoln Bonilla as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams / Ironheart, Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho / Iron Hulk, Tony Hale as Ultron, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm, and Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man.

The series was first announced last year and premiered in fall 2025. Elsewhere in the Disney and Marvel multiverse, an Iron Man-themed roller coaster is currently operating on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, despite initial technical difficulties.

Matthew Margeson composes the music for the series. The theme song, “Totally Awesome,” was written and performed by Mark Hoppus of blink-182.
