Like 2023, the Hatbox Ghost Sipper is available at Harbour Galley in Critter Country.

The sound effects are the same of those found in the attraction. Hatbox Ghost laughs, and then a vanishing noise.

Last year’s Hatbox Ghost Sipper didn’t have any sound effects, but it did have a light-up effect, imitating the real effect on the ride. The face within the hatbox would light up while the head on his shoulders was dark and vice versa. It was priced at $32 flat and came with a bottled non-alcoholic beverage.

There are small aesthetic differences between the two versions. The new sipper has a slightly different color scheme. Last year, the Ghost’s face was the same shade of blue as his hair, while this year, his face is lighter and more translucent. Both his face and hands have a greenish tint to them now.

The old sipper had a matte, worn look to his outfit, while this year’s sipper has a shinier look for his cloak. The face within the hatbox is also a little different.

The detachable lanyard is also new. The previous design featured the iconic damask wallpaper face, bats and a bat stanchion, and spiderwebs. The new lanyard is striped with the Haunted Mansion crest emblem.

The Haunted Mansion’s grounds are currently undergoing a thrilling transformation, but the attraction itself is operating as the seasonal Haunted Mansion Holiday. It requires a Virtual Queue boarding group to ride, since the outdoor queue is closed.
