As invited media, Disney provided WDWNT with a gift card for food and beverages, so some of the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide our honest thoughts on all below.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at Disneyland has a Halloween menu full of new limited-time treats, including the Jack-o’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron.

Five different desserts in black plastic containers arranged on a colorful table include pastries, cupcakes with frosting, a macaron, and a dessert topped with powdered sugar and a golden leaf.

The other new Halloween menu items are the Spiced Bundt Cake, Caramel Apple Cheesecake, Apple Almond Croissant, Hazelnut Brownie Tart with Chocolate Frosting, and Pear Blackberry Cheesecake Crostata. Returning items include the Pumpkin Muffin and Mickey Bat Cookie.

All of these are available through November 14, except the Jack-o’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron and Mickey Bat Cookie, which are only available through October 31.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and offers mobile order.

*NEW* Jack-O’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron – $8.29

Pumpkin macaron shell filled with caramel buttercream and pumpkin cheesecake

A pumpkin-shaped pastry with light orange icing and green details is placed inside a black plastic container.

We were a bit split on how much we loved this, but it ultimately pleased everybody. The filling alternates between caramel and pumpkin cheesecake so your bites will vary, and it’s hard to get one bite that features all the flavors.

A person holds a half-eaten orange macaron with cream filling. Nearby is a pastry topped with purple icing and sprinkles, on a black tray. A pink bottle and utensils rest on the table.

In the end, it’s a great treat with a unique, cute presentation.

*NEW* Spiced Bundt Cake – $6.79

Spiced cake filled with cream cheese frosting and topped with purple glaze, sprinkles, and spiced mousse with a Mickey chocolate decoration

A dessert tray with two Halloween-themed treats, one heart-shaped with orange frosting and a pumpkin stem design, the other round with purple frosting, orange sprinkles, and a bat decoration.

This was a little light for a bundt cake. The spices were there, and it certainly tasted like fall, but it could have used something more creative to put it over the top. Perhaps a filling or a caramel center. It was well prepared, just not enough to get it a 7/7.

*NEW* Caramel Apple Cheesecake – $7.29

Caramel cheesecake with a caramelized apple filling, green-colored white chocolate mousse, chocolate flakes, and chocolate bat decoration

A round cake with green frosting, chocolate pieces, and a bat-shaped chocolate decoration in a clear plastic container.

The Caramel Apple Cheesecake had a texture more delicate than your usual cheesecake. It was closer to a mousse. The taste of the cheesecake is sweet and the apple filling helps boost the treat.

A partially eaten cake with green frosting and chocolate sprinkles in a clear plastic container sits on a blue and yellow patterned table.

Still, something was lacking that couldn’t be saved by a chocolate bat. This left us feeling a little disappointed.

*NEW* Apple Almond Croissant – $8.29

Apple-stuffed croissant with almond topping

A croissant topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar displayed on a black tray.

This tastes like a deconstructed apple pie with almonds and powdered sugar sprinkled on top. The crunch of the almonds gives it a great texture. It was warm inside, making it all the more appetizing. There are no surprises here — what you see is what you get. But what you get is satisfying.

*NEW* Hazelnut Brownie Tart with Chocolate Frosting – $5.49

Hazelnut spread and brownie filling topped with chocolate frosting and sprinkles

A rectangular chocolate cake with colorful sprinkles in a black plastic container on a blue tablecloth with yellow patterns.

We didn’t really taste the hazelnut but the chocolate was wonderful. The tart wasn’t hard or stale but moist and fresh. The center tasted just like a chocolate brownie.

A slice of chocolate-covered cake with colorful sprinkles is being lifted by a black fork from a black tray on a decorated table.

It’s easy to share this treat because it’s so big. For the price, this is definitely worth it.

*NEW* Pear Blackberry Cheesecake Crostata – $6.79

Fresh pears with New York cheesecake and blackberry jam in pie crust topped with caramel

A close-up of a pastry with a flaky crust, filled with caramelized apples inside a clear plastic container.

The blackberry flavor was easily overpowered by the pears. It’s a nice treat to look at and fun to share but was forgettable. The other options at this location were better than this one. Maybe if it was somewhere else, the rating would have been higher, but it was overshadowed by everything else here.

Pumpkin Muffin – $5.29

topped with cream cheese icing

Jolly holiday toasted salsa roja chicken sandwich and pumpkin muffin halloween 2019 in disneyland park

The pumpkin muffin is a solid choice and one of Jolly Holiday’s better muffins. It’s baked perfectly with a firm, crisp top and soft, moist bottom. The cream cheese topping makes it feel almost like a cupcake. The pumpkin flavor isn’t overpowering, so any level of pumpkin lover will like this.

Mickey Bat Cookie – $6.79

Shortbread bat cookie dipped in dark chocolate with a vampire Mickey face

Mickey vampire bat cookie

This is a standard shortbread cookie with chocolate frosting. It’s nothing special but Mickey’s face makes it a cute seasonal offering.

Rating out of 7: 5

The Mickey Bat Cookie is also available at Market House, Red Rose Taverne, and The Coffee House.
