To celebrate the Fourth of July, the "Heartbeat of Freedom" fireworks finale has returned to EPCOT. It is performed at the end of "Luminous: the Symphony of Us." This year marks America's 250th birthday.

“Heartbeat of Freedom” is performed after “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” at 9:00 p.m. on July 3, 4, and 5 this year.

Previously, this tag was performed following “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” but it was suspended for a few years due to the pandemic. In 2022, the fireworks tag returned and was performed after the end of “Harmonious.”

The tag has since been included with “EPCOT Forever” in 2023 and “Luminous” in 2024 as the main EPCOT nighttime show changed over the years.

The finale includes additional fireworks, fountains, and patriotic lighting on Spaceship Earth. There was also special narration at the beginning of the show with remarks about this year being the 250th anniversary:

Good evening. This 4th of July marks 250 years since the founding of this nation.

Also at EPCOT this weekend, Mickey and Friends are meeting in The American Adventure in their “Spirit of ’76” costumes. There will also be patriotic lighting on Spaceship Earth in the evenings, and special performances from Voices of Liberty July 3 – 5. Exclusive echo set performances will be on July 4.
