Mickey and Friends are appearing at The American Adventure in EPCOT in special costumes for the Fourth of July. This year is America’s 250th birthday.
Mickey & Friends 4th of July Meet and Greet
Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto are meeting together outside, on the right side of the pavilion near Art of Disney. Each set is about 20 minutes. A patriotic backdrop is placed behind them with bunting, flowers, and more.
The characters are in their “Spirit of ’76” Colonial-style costumes. Mickey and Goofy wear red coats with blue trim and gold buttons. Pluto wears a red, white, and blue sash. They do not wear their tricorn hats as they have in previous years.

Their autograph cards have autographs on one side. The other side of the card has an image of the American Adventure building. It reads, “Walt Disney World Celebrates America” in the top corner and “Happy 4th of July! 1776-2026″ on a banner.

Chip ‘n’ Dale are meeting in a separate location near the America Gardens Theatre stage.

They also wear red, white, and blue sashes with ribbons. Their backdrop is a bit smaller with some simple bunting placed among flowers.

Their autograph card has their signatures on one side on a brick-looking background, and the other side has the same design as the one for Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto.
Also at EPCOT this weekend, the “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks finale will follow “Luminous The Symphony of Us” at 9 p.m. on July 3, 4, and 5. There will also be patriotic lighting on Spaceship Earth in the evenings, and special performances from Voices of Liberty July 3 – 5. Exclusive echo set performances will be on July 4.
