Following the closure of Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress for a major reimagining, superfans shared close-up footage of the Magic Kingdom attraction they captured when they were able to walk around the theater. Disney has filed a Notice of Commencement for “General Construction” at Liberty Tree Tavern, a table-service restaurant in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. Joe Schott, the current President of Disney Signature Experiences, will replace Jeff Vahle as President of Walt Disney World Resort next month.
