Disney has filed a Notice of Commencement for “General Construction” at Liberty Tree Tavern, a table-service restaurant in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom.

The permit contracts Aim Strategic Group, LLC, a “new commercial construction company that focuses on small-scale jobs with corporations and construction managers who want to empower women in the industry.”
Because the notice was filed by Disney’s Facility Asset Management team, it is likely for regular maintenance rather than large thematic changes. Disney has not announced a refurbishment or closure for Liberty Tree Tavern.

The restaurant offers New England-inspired fare in a colonial-style setting. The all-you-care-to-enjoy platters include roasted turkey, pot roast, smoked pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, and house-made macaroni and cheese, while dessert is Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Plant-based options are also available.
The Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park is under construction next to Liberty Square as an extension of Frontierland.
