The scaffolding at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has expanded above the gift shop, Tower Hotel Gifts.

Tower of Terror Refurbishment

A queue refurbishment began in early May. Later that month, flags came down from the gift shop exit and scrim covered some facade details. Last week, scaffolding was installed on the far right of the facade above the shop.

More scaffolding has been added across the top center of the facade on this side. It remains far out of guests’ way.

We have yet to see signs of work on the building. Disney filed a permit for construction at the ride in March.
