Refurbishment work is underway on columns in the outdoor queue of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is likely related to the construction permit filed by Disney’s Facility Asset Management in March.

Tower of Terror Queue Refurbishment

Several columns in the queue have construction boxes wrapped in scrims around their bases. The columns that aren’t wrapped show what the decorative bases usually look like.

Columns at the corner of the covered queue are fully wrapped in scrims. The refurbishment work is not currently in the way of guests but could potentially force the queue to re-route, depending on how extensive work will be.

Tower of Terror remains open.
