Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will be returning to Disneyland Resort for the Halloween season. This year, the scavenger hunt will not only take place in Downtown Disney District, as it has also been added to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

In an Instagram Reel, Disneyland Resort announced that Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will officially return on August 30. However, unlike in previous years, the game will not be restricted to Downtown Disney District. This year, the hunt is on inside both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Each of the three locations has its own specific map. Guests can purchase a map at the following shops:

Downtown Disney District and Hotels of the Disneyland Resort

An animated dog with a red collar runs in a colorful, Halloween 2024-themed street scene at Disney California Adventure, complete with pumpkins, spider webs, and cartoonish buildings.

After purchasing their map, guests will search the park they are in, looking for decorative pumpkins based on Disney characters. Every time they find a pumpkin, they will add a corresponding sticker to the map. Once all stickers have been placed, guests can bring their completed map to one of the following locations to obtain a prize.

Each map costs $9.99 plus tax. Guests aren’t required to find all of the hidden pumpkins to earn their prize. Prizes have not yet been announced, though last year, they were character Halloween candy bucket sippers.

The game can be played until November 1, 2024. Map redemption is no longer valid after that date. Only one prize can be obtained per map.

Those visiting Walt Disney World can once again participate in the game at EPCOT.
