Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a popular fall activity at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, is set to return this fall. To celebrate, let’s review how guests can get involved and even earn a prize.

The Halloween-themed scavenger hunt debuted at EPCOT just last year and is originally from Disneyland Resort. The activity’s fall 2022 debut was unfortunately delayed due to Hurricane Ian.

Maps can be purchased for $9.99 each at select merchandise locations around EPCOT, including Creations Shop, Port of Entry, World Traveler at International Gateway, and Disney Traders. The front of the map includes labeled locations around the park where pumpkins can be found.

On the back of the map, guests can find stickers that correspond to each of the hidden pumpkins in the park.

Then the hunt begins! And look, we found one! Any guesses as to which character this pumpkin is decorated to resemble? After finding a character-inspired pumpkin, guests may place the corresponding sticker from the back of the map onto its location on the front of the map.

After completing the hunt (whether you successfully found each of the pumpkins or not), the game board can be returned to Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway. Here, the map can be redeemed for a prize! You can see the available prizes just above.

Each prize features a carved face resembling one of three fan-favorite Disney characters: Pluto, Minnie, and Mickey. You can find the same small jack-o’-lantern candy bucket prizes at Disneyland Resort.

It is important to remember that Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is subject to cancellation or change without notice. This includes dates and prices. Materials like maps and stickers are available while supplies last. There is a 5 game board limit per guest. One prize will be redeemable per game board. Game boards will be valid for redemption through October 31, 2023, or while supplies last.

A similar scavenger hunt activity, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is set to return for the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
