Venu Sports, the joint sports streaming app from Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery, has released its pricing ahead of launch this fall, according to Deadline.
Venu Sports Pricing
Sports fans will have to shell out $42.99 per month when Venu Sports debuts this fall. Per Deadline, while this rate is on the higher end of streaming costs, it is “consistent with Venu’s proposition to bring linear feeds of 14 sports-centric networks to consumers without a full pay-TV subscription.”
ESPN still has plans to launch a flagship standalone streaming service in “about a year,” per Deadline, with details still scarce. Warner Bros. Discovery has already added a sports subscription tier to Max, and Fox does not have its own subscription streaming service.
NBCU and Paramount Global, not part of the joint venture, have streaming rights for a large amount of NFL, college sports, soccer, golf, and more, meaning fans will need more than Venu Sports to catch everything.
A seven-day free trial is available to viewers upon signing up for the service. Its launch price will be available for 12 months from the start of a subscription, with no long-term contract required.

Earlier this year, two U.S. Representatives aired concerns about the joint venture and sent a letter to the companies’ CEOs to follow up on questions about its impact on competition. In February 2024, Fubo — a “sports-first” streaming network — filed an antitrust lawsuit against Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery over Venu Sports, seeking to block the app fro release or require restrictions on the studios in order to move forward.
