As invited media, Disney provided WDWNT with a gift card for food and beverages, so some of the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide our honest thoughts on all below.
Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure has a Halloween menu packed with seasonal shakes, ciders, and two new items: The Pumpkin Espresso Martini and Mickey-shaped Waffles with Maple Syrup.
Schmoozies! is located in Hollywood Land. The Halloween menu is available through November 14, and mobile order is available.
Below we review the new Pumpkin Espresso Martini and Mickey-shaped Waffles.
*NEW* Pumpkin Espresso Martini – $17.50
with caramel vodka
This item is fairly large, but it’s not quite large enough to justify a price tag of $17.50. Ultimately, your enjoyment of this drink will come down to the way you consume it. If you drink it through a straw, you’ll miss the layer of pumpkin foam on top and get nothing but a strong espresso taste. Instead of using a straw, we recommend you sip from it. This will allow you to taste the full range of flavors the beverage has to offer as the espresso goes through the smooth pumpkin foam. Even though the foam is pure pumpkin, we didn’t find the flavor to be overwhelming.
Overall, this is a delightful addition to Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.

*NEW* Mickey-shaped Waffles – $10.99
with maple syrup
This item doesn’t exactly stretch the creative boundaries, but the presentation is somewhat unique and gives us beignet vibes. Guests who order this snack will be handed a plain white sack with two Mickey-shaped Waffles inside.
The waffles are covered in powdered sugar and come with a side of maple syrup. The biggest issue we had while eating this snack was that the syrup was prepackaged in a container that wasn’t big enough to actually dip one of the waffles. Therefore, we ended up dismembering our Mickey heads just to get the full range of flavors.
While we weren’t blown away by this item, the waffles are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. But when it comes to flavor, it’s very basic, and you’re getting exactly what you expect.

We’ve tried most of the new Halloween treats being offered at Disneyland this fall. Some of our favorite new offerings include the Philly Potato Dog and Embers Con Queso and the Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat.
