Halloween Horror Nights 33 kicks off on August 30 and runs through November 3, but we got a sneak peek of this year’s Opening Scaremonies on Team Member preview night.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 Opening Scaremonies
The opening scaremonies are a nightly tradition where, just inside the gates before they open to all guests, a short performance opens the event. This year, the scaremonies are led by Icons Sinist3r and Surr3al, sisters who rule over dominions of pain (physical and psychological, respectively). They were supported by sign-toting minions and, of course, chainsaw-wielding Scareactors.
They stand on a catwalk over the neon HHN sign. This area is part of the Duality of Fear scare zone. The sisters will appear there nightly, as well as in their respective zones. Sinist3r will be found in Torture Faire (New York), while Surr3al will be in Demon Queens (Hollywood).
They gave a little speech, fog filled the air, and Halloween Horror Nights came to life.
