During the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, Chairman Josh D’Amaro confirmed the opening year for World of Frozen at Walt Disney Studios Park, which will be renamed Disney Adventure World.
World of Frozen Opening Date
The new land, set on the edge of Adventure Bay, will open in 2026. This opening will also mark the name change of Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World. No further details on the land’s offerings were shared. The “Frozen”-themed land will include a version of Frozen Ever After.
Earlier this weekend during D23, new concept art of an Anna and Elsa meet and greet was revealed for World of Frozen. The model for Disney Adventure World is also on display on the convention show floor.
Adventure Bay will also get a new nighttime spectacular to coincide with the area’s opening. A “The Lion King” land and attraction are also in the works for Disney Adventure World.
The first World of Frozen opened at Hong Kong Disneyland in late 2023. The first Frozen Ever After opened at EPCOT in 2016.
