‘Zootopia Better Zoogether’ Opens Next Winter, Poster Revealed

Disney revealed the name and poster for the “Zootopia” show that will replace “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

‘Zootopia Better Zoogether’

A vibrant poster featuring characters from "Zootopia" in front of an illuminated tree. The banner reads, "Zootopia Better Together!" at the top and "Discovery Island" at the bottom, celebrating the attraction's opening.

“Zootopia Better Zoogether” was first teased at Destination D23 in 2023. The 3D show will be inside the Tree of Life. It will explore biomes from “Zootopia” both familiar and brand new. It will feature characters from the 2016 film like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more.

Additional characters included in the poster and concept art include Gazelle, Chief Bogo, Flash, and Priscilla. As with all concept art, the image may not be reflective of the ultimate final product.

The attraction will feature an Officer Clawhauser audio-animatronic, also seen in the concept art. The animatronic will likely be similar to the one that recently debuted at Shanghai Disneyland as part of that park’s new Zootopia-centric expansion.

The attraction will open in winter 2025 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney did not announce an exact closing date for “It’s Tough To Be A Bug.” The show based on “A Bug’s Life” debuted with the opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 22, 1998 — seven months before the film hit theaters.

Disney also announced details of “Zootopia 2” during D23.
