On Sunday, September 15, Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown, and Wishing Star Park all closed at 5:00 p.m. instead of at their originally scheduled closing times. All outdoor entertainment, including ILUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration and Enjoying the Moon with Duffy and Friends were canceled.

Both Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel remain open and are providing services for in-house guests. They will continue to do so even if operating hours are affected beyond what is currently expected.

Guests are being advised to check the resort’s official app or website for the latest information.

The resort released the following official announcement for all guests who purchased tickets for September 15, 16, and 17.

For guests holding unused Shanghai Disneyland tickets for September 15 or September 17, 2024, or holding Shanghai Disneyland tickets for September 16, 2024, please contact your original point of purchase for a refund or exchange*. We will also provide a one-day extension of the validity period of valid Shanghai Disneyland Annual Passes and the general benefits to pass holders. For pass holders who have made a reservation on September 16, 2024, we will cancel this ‘Reservation No Show Record’ for you. Guests can also contact Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Center for other inquiries.

* Guests who have purchased their tickets through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Account, the Resort Reservation Center, the Resort Official Fliggy Flagship Store or Official Jingdong Flagship Store can request a refund directly through the resort’s official app. For guests who have purchased their tickets through other official channels or our official travel partners, please contact the original ticket purchase channel to request a refund.
