The Star Tours limited edition StarSpeeder 3000 vehicle play set that first debuted at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will soon be available to purchase at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

StarSpeeder 3000 Vehicle Play Set Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The news was shared by Disney Parks on their official Instagram account, via Instagram Stories.

The play sets will be available to purchase from Tatooine Traders starting Friday, September 13. Park reservations to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be required. There will also be a purchase limit of two (2) StarSpeeders per person.

The StarSpeeder 3000 vehicle play set originally debuted online at the Disney Store and at D23 back in August. Each vehicle was priced at $300; though pricing has not been released, the play set will most likely cost the same in the park. It is also a limited edition of 3,000.

The set includes a StarSpeeder 3000 vehicle, an RX-24 figure, and an R2-D2 figure. The to-scale seats inside have seat belts, the doors open via button activation with a chime sound, and there are also cannons and thrusters with sound effects. It can be displayed on a reversible light-up stand.

Inside the vehicle is an LCD screen that features authentic content from the Star Tours attraction, activated by buttons. The side panels are removable, as well as the rooftop carrier and roof panel. The landing gear extends and retracts, locks, and there are also exterior light effects.

The play set requires six (6) AA batteries, which are not included, and is recommended for ages 14+.
