Starting today, subscribers on Peacock will be able to stream “The Making of Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast”. The show invites viewers backstage in Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida.

In 2023, Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast opened to guests at Universal Studios Florida. Today on Instagram, Universal Creative Florida promoted their newest sneak peek documentary released on Peacock featuring Al Roker.
“The Making of Illumination’s VIllain-Con Minion Blast” follows Universal Creative, Universal Orlando Resort, and Illumination Entertainment as they take you through the creative process, build, and opening of one of their newest attractions.
This 11-minute film will take you through the making of the ride and the Villain-Con queue area. Check out our photo tour of the queue to catch the details.
Villain-Con Minion Blast
Villain-Con Minion Blast is an interactive attraction where guests stand on a moving conveyor belt and are equipped with hand-held “E-liminator X” blasters. To score points, guest fire at screens depicting various showdowns with the Vicious 6.
