It’s Our House Now! ~ Disney’s House of Villains

Some surprising news this week, as it was announced that a brand new Disney Villians show will replace the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy. The show is coming soon to the Sunset Showcase on Sunset Boulevard. The “Cars” show will close permanently on October 7. Is this a test for the new land announced for Magic Kingdom?

Meanwhile, after over a year in operation, TRON Lightcycle / Run is finally dropping the virtual queue and moving to a standby option in addition to the paid Lightning Lane Single Pass offering. However, over at EPCOT, the VQ for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind still remains, even though it started almost a year earlier. Our panel will discuss.

Over at Disneyland, a couple has been suing Disney to try and have their Club 33 privileges reinstated, after an incident with the husband at DCA. They took it to court. Should they be allowed to return to the most expensive space at the Happiest Place?

Also, new concept art has surfaced for a DuckTales attraction that was a planned replacement for the new Toontown at Disneyland. The ride was to take over the space currently occupied by Roger Rabbit. Likely a victim of the 2020 closures, would this have been a welcome alternative?

Halloween offerings continue to roll out as Spooky Season is now underway. We’ll talk about the latest food, merchandise, and of course, popcorn buckets that were announced this week!

We’ll also have updates on Christmas including character meet and greet news for Jollywood Nights, Disney Vacation Club updates on the Island Tower and the EPCOT DVC Lounge, Tiana Bayou Adventure updates for Disneyland, and more!
