The walls are down at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, and the menus for both the bakery and restaurant have been revealed. Here is a list of every item available with prices.

With an egg sandwich costing more than $20, I guess these guys really want to prove that a fool and their money is easily parted!
Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Stuff better be made with gold.
what a flipping rip off
Put this place out of business before it even opens. It doesn’t even belong on the boardwalk. It should be pizza, hotdogs, salt water taffy. This place is a joke.
Even in consideration of Disney prices this new place is out of their minds with the asking prices. I have been looking forward to this place opening, but I cannot imagine paying those prices for baked good. The restaurant prices are a bit more reasonable, but only if the food is excellent.
I totally agree with you because I have been looking forward to the opening. But I will not be going with those prices for food. That is ridiculous pricing!
Very expensive! Very Very!
An $8 Coke? That’s insane.
$18 buttered noodles is downright offensive
That extra ‘e’ they’re adding on the end of extra item must mean “excruciatingly expensive”
$18 kid’s menu buttered noodles? Yikes(e)!
With these prices, this place won’t last longer than we’ve all waited for it to open. Disney is getting offensive with some of this pricing.
I’m honestly rooting for this restaurant to fail hard. Prices are insane.
Nope!!! Absolutely insane pricing. Could I afford $100 to go here? Yes. But will I? NO! And what happened to high tea? If they do add it, it will probably be $129 or more per person.
I hope people boycott these prices!
The prices are high in Indy too, but the place is always packed. It’s not just the food, it’s a gorgeous place and a wonderful experience (edible glitter galore, anyone?). The food and dessert portions are humongous – I’ve yet to finish a meal there. That being said, are the prices crazy high? Yes, but perhaps not quite as out of line as they seem at first glance.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This Boardwalk DVC member certainly won’t be eating there. Disney prices are high but holy cow! These are ridiculous!
I’ll have an order of the $4 toast, thank you very much.
My family and I will be eating someplace else.
I don’t see the target demographic. Are they aware that Le Cellier, Chefs de France, and Flying Fish are all within walking distance? I think I understand why the construction took so long. No need to hurry.
TWELVE DOLLARS for croissant? That is absolutely ridiculous! We know Disney World is an expensive place to go in general, that there are lots of places to eat for half to a third of the price of this place, and I predict it’s gonna go bust!
Wow! I get that things are more expensive at Disney, but this pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Good luck to them on getting someone to pay $18 for a kids peanut butter and jelly sandwich. What a joke.
Suddenly, driving a couple of miles and spending $50 for 2 adults and 2 kids at McDonalds doesn’t seem so outlandish.
Wow. Prices are insane, I think it took longer to open this then it will be open. Overpriced diner.
For this they took away the ESPN Club? Why would I choose this place over the Boardwalk Bakery right next door? You can’t blame Disney. This is a Non-Disney property.
When you price out your target consumers, you lose your consumers. When there are no consumers, you make no profit. Are we sure Chapek has left completely??
*Points wand at blank menu prices and casts “Riddikulus!”
$18 for a kids PBJ sandwich? It’s time to refuse to pay these prices anymore no matter how gorgeous the place is. I have her book and love her talent but this is not attainable for me. Tired of these restaurants charging ridiculous amounts of money. Just MHO.
