Adventureland Pavement Refurbishment Continues Filling the Gaps in Magic Kingdom

Another new section of themed Adventureland pavement has been added in Magic Kingdom, filling a gap on one side of the walkway near Island Supply by Sunglass Hut.

Adventureland Pavement Update

A group of people walk through a theme park with colorful buildings, palm trees, and clear blue sky.

On our visit to Magic Kingdom on Friday, October 25, we noticed that a new section of themed pavement was stanchioned off across the way from Island Supply.

The new section fills in a gap between the pavement right next to the shop and the section connected to The Swiss Family Treehouse, as seen in our last update.

The section is roped off in the middle of the walkway, creating a split path for guests traveling in either direction through Adventureland.

Animal paw prints and bird tracks preserved in a cracked, dry mud surface.

The same embedded animal tracks are also present here. We can spot paw prints, hooves, and bird claw prints.

The image shows a rope barrier blocking access to a closed area in an amusement park with palm trees and themed architecture in the background.

It looks like the area in front of Agrabah Bazaar is next up to get the themed pavement. Scoring is present in the gray pavement just beyond the stanchion ropes.

Here’s a look at the pavement section from the opposite side, where the scoring in the gray pavement is more visible. It should only be another day or two before we see another section poured.

What do you think of the continuing progress on the themed Adventureland pavement? Do you prefer it over the old gray look? How much longer do you think we’ll have before work is finally complete? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
