Orange County and Osceola County in Florida are both under tornado warnings, effective until at least 4 p.m.
Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are in Orange and Osceola. It’s imperative anyone in the area remains inside for their safety. A tornado warning means tornadoes are guaranteed. The warning was originally set to expire at 3:30 p.m. and could be extended again.
Both counties were placed under tornado watch earlier today and will remain under tornado watch into the evening. A watch means tornadoes are possible.
Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks closed early today and will remain closed through Thursday due to Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Guests remain at resort hotels but Osceola County issued a curfew.
