The construction walls are down around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland, giving us a clearer look at the attraction’s queue, Louis’ Critter Club, and more.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Walls Down
The walls are down, and now guests can get a good look at some of what the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue will have to offer when it opens later this year.
Short barriers sit in front of the main entrance to the attraction’s queue.
The above photo shows the initial entrance to the line. The screens at the top of the green structure are currently blank but will let guests know whether they are entering the standby queue, Lightning Lane queue, or single rider queue.
MagicBand scanners stand behind the center and right lanes. They are currently covered.
Next to the entrance is a warning line that warns guests that they may get wet. It also provides information about which guests should and should not ride the attraction.
The winding queue has received brand new wood which will now lead guests back and forth through a garden.
One balcony is loaded with musical instruments, cases, and more. Above the white door that leads into the balcony’s building is a sign that says “Performers Only.”
The mailbox on the balcony is exclusively for “Fan Mail.”
The attraction’s queue has a workbench loaded with tools and minor details. There is also a cabinet at the front that slides back and forth, revealing shelves.
Some of the tools include scissors, a spade, and a hand rake. A lantern, a yellow floral watering can, and more sit on the bench. On a shelf above the tools is a purple birdhouse,
On one part of the workbench is an unfinished game of Tic-Tac-Toe. If X goes next, they’re going to win! A watering can hangs from the area.
A spool of twine, a wooden bucket, and a basket sit on a shelf inside of the cabinet.
Inside the queue is a “Children’s Garden.” Various vegetables are inside the caged area, and each has a sign stating what it is.
We also got a much better look at the facade that we reported on a few days ago. This image is all the way to the right of the mural. It features Louis reading from a cookbook as children and cooks work at a table in front of him.
Next to that image is a painting of five chefs working in a kitchen. The table in front of them is loaded with fruits, vegetables, and pies.
Continuing left, this next image depicts flowers shooting out of a yellow tube.
Next, workers harvest pumpkins, watermelons, and eggplants in a field.
And finally, Louis plays a horn. He is joined by five others who play the same type of horn.
We also got a look at Louis’ Critter Club, one of the merchandise shops opening alongside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Recently, Disney Parks announced that the store would open on November 13, two days before Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The other gift shop for the attraction will be Ray’s Berets, taking over the footprint of The Briar Patch.
There are various posters on the side of the building. This one depicts Lous playing his trumpet. “Festival of Jazz” is written vertically in green in front of him. “Groove with the gator!,” “Louis’ Critter Club,” and “All weekend long!” are in yellow at the bottom of the poster.
Another poster advertises “Calude & Bernadette’s Zydeco Jazz Octet.” The critters featured on the poster will all be part of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens in November.
Other posters on the wall show the “Bayou Community Band.” This one is blue and features Beau, Rufus, Felipe, and Byhalia.
This red poster shows Mayra, Claude, and Timoleon.
This corner features a picture of Louis playing his trumpet, and another advertising “Beau and the All-Star Jazz Band.”
On the left, Louis plays his trumpet and looks at a bunch of fireflies. The text advertised “Firefly Five Plus Lou.”
The right poster depicts the “Stars of the Week.” They are Gritty, Rufus, Beau, and Octavia.
The final poster shows Mondo playing his bongos. “This frog is the cat’s pajamas” is written next to him.
Finally, we got a picture of the trash and mixed recycling cans that will be located around Bayou Country. They feature a red, white, and blue circle in the center with a stork flying over reeds. They each say “Help keep our bayou clean.”
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open to Disneyland guests on November 15, 2024. Magic Key holders will get to preview the attraction on select dates starting on October 21.
