No decision has been made yet regarding when service will resume

For information regarding specific flights, please check with your airline directly

MCO suspended commercial passenger and private operations on Wednesday, October 9, ahead of Hurricane Milton making landfall in Florida.

In a post on X, MCO shared that emergency crews were onsite overnight, and that damage assessment began this morning.

Just this afternoon, MCO shared another update on X:

Though the airport will receive a few arriving flights this evening, travelers are asked not to come to the airport tonight for departures. Departing flights will begin tomorrow. Those expecting to fly should check with their airline for updates.

Orange County, where MCO is located, is currently under a wind advisory resulting from Hurricane Milton until 8 p.m. tonight, October 10. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort will reopen to guests under normal operation tomorrow, October 11.
