Imagineers installed the new Disney Theater facade and marquee in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris.

The new theater facade includes a sign reading “Disney Theater,” which a crane lifted into place. The facade is inside World Premiere, the entrance building to the park formerly known as Disney Studio 1. It closed earlier this year for the reimagining, part of a major overhaul that will see the park renamed Disney Adventure World.

Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski and Walt Disney Imagineering wrote on Instagram that the facade and marquee weigh three tons, about the size of a baby blue whale. Rafalski said, “Our [Walt Disney Imagineering] Paris teams are currently bringing a touch of Hollywood glamour to life, preparing to welcome you to a glitzy film premiere in spring of ‘25.”

While Studio 1 resembled a Hollywood Boulevard movie set, the updated space will be an open-air movie studio with decor inspired by historic Hollywood theaters. Guests act as the VIPs of a film premiere. The movie theater facade is as a portal into the rest of the park. Restaurant en Coulisse will become Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, where guests will dine at a movie premiere garden party.
