Frankenstein & Bride Cookies Return for October 2024 to Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs

A new month means a new monthly cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, and two cookies are returning for the spooky season: the Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein cookies.

The Frankenstein cookie is a returning favorite for us. Each bite offers dark chocolate cookie, Double Stuf Oreos, and M&Ms.

To us, this cookie has the perfect amount of chocolate and isn’t overpowering at all. We think it’d pair perfectly with a peanut butter cold brew.

The Bride of Frankenstein cookie is a dream for lovers of white chocolate.

However, beyond that swap in chocolate, it’s the same exact experience as the Frankenstein — though we’re not complaining.

This month’s menu card features a grinning black cat on the front, set against an orange full moon and orange and black bats. The Gideon’s logo has been transformed into “Gideon’s Spookhouse.”

The original Gideon’s Bakehouse opened its doors in October 2016, making this month the brand’s eighth birthday.

At Disney Springs, Gideon’s Bakehouse is a popular quick-service cookie and coffee shop, found in The Landing section. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and guests may have to wait in long lines or utilize virtual queues to get their giant cookies (which come in at approximately half a pound each!).

Will you be heading out to Disney Springs this month to try the October cookies? Have you had them before? Let us know what you think in the comments and on social media.
