Get out your wand and solemnly swear you’re up to no good with the new collection of Marauder’s Map merchandise available at Universal Orlando Resort.
Two display windows of the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk are dedicated to the new “Harry Potter” merchandise. The collection is also available online from the Universal Orlando shop.
Marauder’s Map Merchandise
Map Replica – $49.95
This collectible is a replica of The Marauder’s Map as it appeared in the “Harry Potter” films.
The Marauder’s Map was created by James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew when they were Hogwarts students. It’s a detailed map of Hogwarts that shows where people are on the grounds. The map must be unlocked with the spell, “I solemnly swear I am up to no good,” and closed with “Mischief Managed.” The map is discovered by Fred and George Weasley, who later give it to Harry Potter.
Interactive Map Replica – $59.95
This replica of the map has appearing footprints and sound effects. It includes a simple brown wand to activate the map.
The footprints of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, and Snape appear on the map. Users can tap the magic wand on characters to make them pause, meet, and hide.
It includes three AAA batteries.
Hoodie – $65
This hoodie is light beige with elements of the map all over the torso and sleeves. The hem and cuffs are maroon.
The Marauder’s Map symbol, featuring castle walls and The Whomping Willow, is depicted in red on a chest patch.
The back of the hoodie features the red silhouettes and nicknames of the Marauders’ animal forms: Moony (Lupin), Wormtail (Pettigrew), Padfoot (Sirus), and Prongs (James). The latter three friends became animagi so they could turn into animals to accompany werewolf Lupin when he transformed.
Adult Sun-Activated T-Shirt – $40
This shirt’s design is similar to the hoodie: beige with a map pattern and the Marauder’s Map logo on the left breast.
It has a sun-activated design, making elements appear when the shirt is worn outside.
The back of the T-shirt displays more of the map. Some footprints can be seen in the design.
Youth Sun-Activated T-Shirt – $30
The youth tee has a beige torso and red sleeves. The Marauder’s Map logo is in red on the center of the shirt. Golden footprints and other map elements are across the sleeves.
This T-shirt also has a sun-activated design. At the bottom of the shirt in the photo above, you can faintly see some of the sun-activated footprints.
Sun-Activated Tank Top – $40
The tank top has a v-neck. It’s beige with a red design displaying map elements. The Marauder’s Map logo is on the chest.
Reversible Bucket Hat – $34
One side of this bucket hat is beige with black footprints and the Marauders’ animal forms. The brim is maroon.
The other side is red with “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” in gold around the center.
Journal – $27
Plan out your own map with this themed journal. It has a brown pleather cover with a wraparound tie. Down the front of the journal are the four friend’s introductory words to the map.
The pages are dotted with footprints in the corners and “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” along the top.
Wall Sign – $50
This oval-shaped sign has a brown wood finish. It features a golden ribbon carved with “Mischief Managed.”
A pair of golden pegs sit below the golden ribbon. The back of the wall sign features built-in hardware for hanging on a wall.
Mug – $21
This red mug features the map’s logo in gold on one side. Other map elements are beige. The mug has a squared handle.
A “Mischief Managed” symbol featuring a ribbon around a wand can be found on the beige interior. The mug is hand wash only and should not be microwaved.
Blanket – $50
This blanket is 50″ wide and 60″ tall. One side is beige with a red border. It features the map’s logo and introduction with a few footprints.
The other side is red with the map in beige. The Hogwarts crest is in the center. Bright footprints walk around the crest, heading off in different directions.
Puzzle – $22
This puzzle is 300 pieces and, when put together, makes an 18″ x 24″ image of The Marauder’s Map.
Backpack – $65
The backpack is transparent with part of the map in gold on the front. The edges of each transparent panel are lined with red fabric. The maroon tops of the exterior pockets feature the Marauders’ animal forms and names in gold.
A red and gold Marauder’s Map logo patch is centered at the top.
The bag has two side pockets, each with a maroon border at the top.
There’s a carry handle and two backpack straps. They both state, “I solemnly swear I am up to no good.” The maroon strap at the top features the animals and their names.
Hogwarts Ornament – $35
This ornament features a small statue of Hogwarts Castle under a dome. It sits on a gold base. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter logo appears on a gold sign on the front. The ornament has a gold ribbon that it can be hung from.
Sling Bag – $45
The sling backpack is made of red pleather. “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” is on a beige image of a ribbon on the front of the bag. Footprints are above, below, and behind the ribbon.
The bag has a goldtone zipper with a red pull featuring “Mischief” in gold.
The bag’s strap is beige and printed with parts of The Marauder’s Map. There’s a snap loop on one side.
The interior lining displayed some of The Marauder’s Map.
Keychain – $15
This keychain has a golden lobster claw clip and ring on a short chain. In a golden circle is a spinner. One side is beige with “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” on a gold ribbon.
The other side is maroon with an image of a wand and “Mischief Managed” on a ribbon.
