Disney unveiled the Moana splash pad at Disney Vacation Club’s Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney Vacation Club, and Disney Parks shared the video below of Construction Manager Anna showing off the new Moana splash pad. A life-size Moana sculpture is featured on her outrigger, which we spotted at the tower a few months ago.

A worker in a hard hat and safety gear stands next to a large statue of an animated character holding a sail, reminiscent of Moana. In the background, tropical trees frame the scene near the splash pad.

Moana is positioned to face the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom across the water. The detailed sculpture includes Moana’s necklace holding the heart of Te Fiti.

Watch the behind-the-scenes video below.

The actual padding of the play area features different blues and greens inspired by the ocean. It sits next to the tower’s pool, which was recently filled.
