Happy Pin Tuesday! Today was a glorious day in EPCOT. New limited-edition pins, the reopened DCV lounge in ImageWorks, updates from the Tiny Village in Germany, and more.

Monorail Orange Returns

A white and orange monorail train glides along an elevated track under a clear blue sky.

Monorail Orange returned to service after its refurbishment. According to my Cast Member friends, it came back yesterday. Today, it was on the express line to Magic Kingdom.

The Grand Floridian Gingerbread House

People working on constructing a large, detailed gingerbread house display indoors.

This morning construction crews were working on the Gingerbread House in the Grand Floridian. I hung out for a bit. If you look behind the Gingerbread House you can see the culinary crew in a meeting. After their meeting, the Cast Members donned their holiday aprons and began installing the first few pieces of Gingerbread in the house.

EPCOT

Visitors walk near the large geodesic sphere at a theme park entrance, with the American flag prominently displayed in the foreground under a clear blue sky.

EPCOT was pretty busy today which I wasn’t expecting. It was also pretty hot for the end of October. The weatherman says that it was only in the eighties, but goodness that Sun stays toasty.

Pin Tuesday!

Three limited edition Disney pins are displayed: a "Big Hero 6" pin, a "National Candy Day" pin with a Cheshire Cat design, and a "Life Day 2024" pin featuring characters in winter attire.

I found these pins in Pin Traders – Camera Center in EPCOT.

  • Big Hero 6 10th Anniversary Pin
    • Limited Edition of 2000
    • Cost: $22.99
  • Life Day 2024 Pin
    • Limited Release
    • Cost: $19.99
  • National Candy Day Pin
    • Limited Edition of 3000
    • Cost: $22.99

Holiday Shirts – $34.99 each

Two Disney-themed shirts on hangers: one gray with round character graphics and "Walt Disney World" text, the other pink featuring Mickey and Minnie in red with a Christmas tree.

In the Port of Entry in EPCOT, there are two new holiday shirts available for $34.99 each. I like the bobble shirt the most! Let me know which you like more in the comments below.

ImaginAtrium Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge

Collage of a modern lounge area with colorful seating, a reception desk with staff, and a window showing a geometric structure and sky.

The ImaginAtrium Disney Vacation Clun member lounge reopened to DVC guests. It was nice, but it seems that only the chairs have been replaced and a paint job on the walls. However, the glass ceiling will never be topped. A Cast Member told me that the Freestyle Coke machines will be replaced in the next few weeks.

Bing Bong – $29.99

This charming plush toy of a pink elephant, donning a snappy suit and bowtie, brings a touch of magic to your collection—perfect for celebrating Pin Tuesday. Look out for it at the store during your next visit to EPCOT!

There is now a Bing Bong plush from “Inside Out” available in ImageWorks at the exit of Journey Into Imagination with Figment. I love Bing Bong and he still breaks my heart.

Living with the Land – Monkey Madness

Collage of three images: a "Living with the Land" boat ride sign, a jungle scene with a tree and water, and a close-up of a person in the jungle environment.

I rode Living with the Land and saw the Monkeys were not participating or not living with the Land rather they were just sadly still in awkward positions. The one on the far left had his head slumped and the other was overly cocking his head giving him a sorta spooky look.

Jammitors!

Three people play steel drums outdoors on a sunny day, with trees and a building reminiscent of an EPCOT pavilion in the background.

After my ride, I went outside and found the Jammitors performing outside of Communicore Hall. It seems they are still trying to find their permanent position with the newer stage show. These three men really bring such a positive, upbeat, and fun environment during every show.

Festival of the Holidays Decor in World Showcase

A store display with "Celebrate" signs features shelves of packaged goods, mugs, and plush toys in a themed retail setting.

In the World Showcase, there was already some decor for the Festival of Holidays. We spotted the signs in multiple locations. These pics are from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Norway, and Mexico.

Tiny Village Drama

Miniature buildings, including houses and a chapel, are displayed on a gravel surface surrounded by greenery.

The drama continues in the tiny village this week. Our tiny friend remains strong at the top of the tower. There was a break-in in the small red home. It seems the burglars emptied the home. Maybe the tenants moved out quickly? A man fell outside the small building in the back.

Hopefully, he was just napping and not something more serious. In the tall blue apartments, a man was standing at the top, but one of the pillars had fallen over. Maybe he is checking out the damage. There was also a tiny cat who wouldn’t be so tiny for the villagers. The little cat is very cute.

For my previous update, you can visit my last photo report.

Adios Friends!

A group of people stand in front of a large geodesic sphere at a theme park on a sunny day with blue sky and clouds.

I hope you enjoyed our day in EPCOT! I enjoyed exploring the reopened DVC Lounge, that was my first time there so it was amazing to see the views from there. I also really enjoyed catching up with my tiny villagers. Let me know your favorite moment from the day in the comments below and on social media.
