runDisney has announced a new multi-year collaboration with Brooks Running, a performance running shoe brand, which will include Brooks creating Disney-themed running shoes.
runDisney and Brooks Running Collaboration
In a press release, it was announced that Brooks Running is now the official running shoe of the brand. With this new collaboration, Brooks will offer shoes and provide the official race shirts for runDisney race weekends, starting with an upcoming 2025 race.
In addition, Brooks will create Disney-themed running shoes featuring Disney characters. In 2026, the brand will follow up with designs for Brooks jackets for Club runDisney members.
The energy that running unlocks is powerful, and there’s no better illustration of that than the energy you experience at a runDisney race.
We are very proud to work with runDisney and can’t wait to create more magic together for runners everywhere.
Melanie Allen, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Brooks Running
Brooks creates performance footwear, apparel, and accessories for runners. Since 2022, Brooks has “maintained the No. 1 market share in the adult performance running footwear market at U.S. national retail outlets.”
This collaboration allows runners to marry their passion for the Disney brand with the creativity, technology, and running industry expertise that is synonymous with Brooks.
We are already busy brainstorming on the many ways we can continue to elevate the Disney running experience for thousands of recreational and dedicated runners who participate in our runDisney events every year.
Adam Ball, runDisney Vice President
Specifics on what kinds of running shoe and apparel designs fans can expect were not shared. The first Disney race for next year will be the 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, taking place January 8-12, 2025 at Walt Disney World.
