In March 2024, one of the two Storybook Circus welcome banners at the entrance of the land was removed at Magic Kingdom. A few weeks later, the banner returned without any changes whatsoever.

On a recent trip to Magic Kingdom, we noticed that the other banner has now been removed. The gap on the left side of the photo above normally houses a banner that is identical to the one on the right.

The above photo shows what the entrance to Storybook Circus looks like when both of the banners are in place. Both banners read:

Come one! Come all!

We don’t know the reason for the banner being removed, as no issues have been reported on any of our recent visits to Magic Kingdom. Earlier this year, the other banner was removed because it kept getting blown loose on windy days.

  1. The left side banner was damaged by early winds from hurricane Helene, whilst the park was open. They zip tied it down temporarily for the remainder of the day, presumably before it could be removed safely at the end of the day prior to the storm moving in overnight.
