This week, we spotted that the welcome banner on the right of the Storybook Circus entrance has been removed. Before it was taken down, the banner was an exact copy of the one to the left, reading “Come one! Come All! Welcome to the Storybook Circus Entrance.”

Here’s a look at what the Storybook Circus entrance is normally like when all of the banners are in place.

The banner was blown down during a very windy day in late February, as shown in the image above.

It appears that crew members simply took it down after the wind did most of the work, and potentially to repair any damage caused.

Though the banner could return after a quick cosmetic fix, it is also possible that the banner could be replaced with signage for the upcoming “Smellephants on Parade” activity coming to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction area.

Sponsored by Scentsy, the home fragrance of Walt Disney World, “Smellephants on Parade” will be a “Family-friendly ‘search and sniff’ adventure” that will add a map and sticker sheet scavenger hunt where guests search for Smellephant statues around the area and note their different scents. This is similar to the scavenger hunts found at EPCOT.
