Rock on with this new Guardians of the Galaxy ear headband featuring a cassette tape-inspired bow. The ears are available at Studio Store in Disney California Adventure.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” Retro Cassette Ear Headband – $39.99
The outside of the headband is orange pleather while the inside is white velour. The bow is made to look like the black ribbon has been pulled out of a cassette tape.
The cassette tape is a fabric patch in the center. It’s “Awesome Mix Vol. 1,” Star-Lord’s mix tape in the first “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the name of the film’s soundtrack. It features classic songs from the 1960s and ’70s.
The right ear features the dark blue silhouettes of Groot, Drax, Star-Lord, and Gamora. They are set against red, blue, orange, and yellow stripes. Red music notes and white stars are around them.
The other ear has the same set of stripes with music notes and stars. The Guardians crest is pictured in orange, blue, and white.
The stripes continue on the backs of the ears. The Milano, Star-Lord’s original ship, is pictured flying out of a jump point on the back of the right ear.
This Guardians of the Galaxy ear headband is also available at Walt Disney World.
