One of the lands at the upcoming theme park is Dark Universe, centering around the Universal Monsters. Previously, it was announced that guests would be able to meet and greet Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, the Invisible Man, Dracula, and Ygor. At the panel, the team confirmed that the Phantom of the Opera and the Creature From the Black Lagoon will also be present.

Dark Universe takes guests into the modern day village of Darkmoor, which serves as a setting for what Universal considers to be a “sequel” to the classic films. It will have two attractions — Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf.

Epic Universe opens on May 22, 2025. The first tickets go on sale next week.
