A new opening date has been announced for Donkey Kong Country, an expansion of Super Nintendo World, at Universal Studios Japan.

Get a FIRST LOOK at Universal Studios Japan's tropical-themed amusement park, featuring dynamic structures labeled "Kong." Don't miss the sign announcing the grand opening on December 11, 2024, as you step into a world reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country.

Donkey Kong Country will open on December 11, 2024.

Universal Studios Japan will be the first to have Donkey Kong Country, but it will also be a part of Epic Universe in Florida when it opens in May 2025.

Donkey Kong Country is headlined by a roller coaster, Mine-Cart Madness, emulating one of the most iconic parts of Donkey Kong games. The expansion was originally set to open in summer 2024, but suffered delays.

The date was announced during a special Super Nintendo World Direct live stream.
