The witches and wizards of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida have decorated for the holiday season.
Diagon Alley Christmas Decorations
On the right after the main Diagon Alley entrance is Quality Quidditch Supplies. The sports shop is adorned with garlands and a wreath wrapped with gold ribbons. The decorative baubles are red, yellow, green, and blue — the main colors of each Hogwarts house.
Next door is Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, a joke shop run by Fred and George Weasley. The tops of the orange window frames are lined with garlands full of small rockets.
Across the street is The Leaky Cauldron. A garland full of berries, pinecones, and twigs is above the restaurant’s exit. A matching wreath also hangs on the nearby brick wall.
Each facade on the crooked street has its own unique themed decorations.
At the end of the street is Gringotts Bank with a dragon perched on the roof. There is plain garland around the bank’s balconies.
The facade for the bookstore Flourish & Blotts features flowers made of book pages. These are tucked into garlands along the top of the facade and a wreath on the door. A garland full of green and red balls of yarn is above the Spindlewarps sign.
On the other side of the street, Madam Malkin’s Robes has garlands full of pink, white, and purple flowers. Pink ribbons also run through the décor.
A white wreath with pinecones is on the open door of Shutterbutton’s. A matching garland is above the studio’s window.
On the corner of the street is Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour. The garlands and wreath on this building feature ice cream cone toys, red berries, and pinecones. Garland also lines the windows of the adjacent Fountain of Fair Fortune bar.
Simple garlands are above the windows of the Magical Menagerie. Garland also lines the building that houses the land’s restrooms.
More plain garlands are around the gable roofs of Gringotts, where guests enter the ride and locker area.
The Pumpkin Juice mural is lined with garland. There’s also a strip of garland above the door below. Golden jingle bells are tucked among the foliage.
The starry blue Wiseacre’s facade is adorned with several garlands. True to the store’s theming, the garlands are decorated with golden ornaments, including stars, and shiny ribbons.
Small wreaths with red and white berries hang above the barber shop facade. The clock shop facade has garland along its awning.
Garlands cross above guests as they walk under the glass ceiling of Carkitt Market. A giant wreath is at the edge of the street. From the right angle, the wreath perfectly frames the dragon’s head.
The Gringotts Money Exchange has plain garland just like the bank. The nearby Eternelle’s kiosk is lined with garlands of berries.
There are a few garlands and wreaths in the rest of Carkitt Market but decorating doesn’t seem to be quite done.
Two wreaths are on either side of this brick archway. Another classic wreath is on the large door near the Diagon Alley exit. A matching garland is above the door. Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop is lined by garland full of pastel candy-like ornaments.
