Disneyland Hotel Paris Introduces Guards of the Winter Holidays

Disney Imagineers unveiled their new Guards of the Winter Holidays, a series of seasonal decorations at Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Hotel: Guards of the Winter Holidays

Walt Disney Imagineering wrote on Instagram, “A new holiday tradition has been unveiled in Disneyland Paris! Imagineers in Paris have enriched the festive decorations in the lobby of Disneyland Hotel with a new story to help celebrate this beloved season: the Guards of the Winter Holidays. The carved members of the guard are inspired by various holiday traditions from around the world.”

The guards are life-size but have cartoonish features. They wear similar soldier uniforms but in different colors. One wears red and gold and holds up a book depicting an hourglass and planets. Another guard wears blue and gold.

Disneyland Hotel décor also includes illuminated garlands and Christmas trees. The hotel recently went through a royal reimagining, reopening in January of this year.

The Disneyland Paris holiday celebration, “Disney Enchanted Christmas,” runs from November 9 through January 6, 2025. Entertainment includes “Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade,” the “Let’s Sing Christmas!” show, tree lighting, and snowfall on Main Street. A Christmas drone sequence has been added to the “Disney Electrical Sky Parade.” Of course, there’s a Santa Claus meet and greet, plus greetings with other characters in holiday apparel. Walt Disney Studios Park features a Christmas food market.
