Wailulu Bar & Grill, the new restaurant at the Disney Vacation Club Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, now has a page on the Walt Disney World website.

The Wailulu Bar & Grill page describes it as “a tropical getaway when you indulge in delicious flavors inspired by cuisine from the South Pacific Islands.”

Wailulu Bar & Grill was announced with the tower’s Moana splash pad in August. It overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon, with views of Magic Kingdom in the distance. The name comes from the Hawaiian words “wai” meaning “water” and “lulu” meaning “calm.”

An outdoor dining area in the evening with people seated at tables. The space features wooden columns, hanging lights, and a decorative glass wall that hints at a Moana-inspired design.

The restaurant will be adorned with Polynesian-inspired artwork, including items crafted from recycled materials and reclaimed fishing nets. A Disney Vacation Club docuseries shared a look at some of the venue’s art.

Guests will be able to enjoy on-the-go breakfast, all-day lunch and dinner, and a walk-up pool bar and grill. A menu is not yet available but the website says to check back soon for details.

Wailulu will open with Island Tower on December 17, 2024.
