Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Christmas tree has been installed in the resort lobby for the 2024 holiday season.
Grand Floridian Christmas Tree
The Christmas tree is nearly four stories tall. It’s in the center of the lobby, between the birdcage and the elevator. The lobby’s grand piano has been moved to the side, next to the elevator. The tree features golden string lights, baubles, snowflake-shaped ornaments, birdcages, and more décor.
The snowflake ornaments feature pictures and numbers representing the different gifts in “The Twelve Days of Christmas” carol. This snowflake features a ballerina and the number 9 for “nine ladies dancing.”
Swans are a recurring element of Grand Floridian’s Christmas decorations and there are several figures tucked into the tree. Vintage-style decorations include a Santa Claus figure in a golden lantern frame.
The Christmas tree is next to the Grand Floridian gingerbread house, which is celebrating its 25th year.
Wreaths throughout the lobby also feature sawn figures, as well as flowers.
Balconies hang from the railings overlooking the lobby.
PhotoPass photographers are sometimes available at the Grand Floridian Christmas tree and gingerbread house.
