Part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Glimmering Greenhouses sees holiday decorations and lights take over the greenhouses of Living with the Land, a slow-moving boat ride about the past, present, and future of agriculture.

A tunnel with blue and green lights illuminates a waterway, creating reflections reminiscent of glimmering greenhouses. A boat is stationed at the end of the tunnel under a large canopy, inviting you to explore the wonders of living with the land.

The first part of the ride is unchanged as guests travel through the various biomes and farm scenes. Once the boats reach the greenhouses, holiday lights are strung in the entrance tunnel.

Step into a glimmering greenhouse where illuminated trees and lush foliage thrive, their beauty magnified at night. Wander along a colorful path beside a tranquil waterway, housed beneath a dome adorned with triangular patterns—a true experience of living with the land.

Pebble lights in a spectrum of colors light up the ground in the first greenhouse. The trees are carefully wrapped in strands of yellow. A family of sandpeople (not to be confused with the Tuskens of “Star Wars”) are found here by the breadfruit tree, donning winter gear.

The Biotechnology Lab is decked out (and in) with a pile of gifts near the sign and lights strung indoors. Stockings are hung from the windows.

The Festival of the Holidays runs from November 29 through December 30, but the overlay opened a few days early.
