PHOTOS: Disney Treasure’s Aladdin-Inspired Grand Hall Features References to Other Disney Cruise Line Ships

A decorative brass teapot sits elegantly on a table in the Grand Hall lobby, with a whimsical sculpture of two figures riding a carpet reminiscent of Disney Treasure adventures captured in photos in the background.

As with the Disney Wish, the atrium of the new Disney Treasure cruise ship is considered a “Grand Hall.” While the Wish took inspiration from “Cinderella,” the Treasure has a Grand Hall inspired by the palace of Agrabah from “Aladdin.”

Disney Treasure Grand Hall

A lavish theater lobby reminiscent of a Grand Hall, featuring a grand staircase, ornate ceiling, and large chandelier. The decor includes intricate designs on the carpet and walls, with multiple levels and seating areas that echo the elegance of a Disney Treasure on the Disney Cruise Line.

The Grand Hall features a color scheme of deep blues and golds. Swirls of light run up the side of the staircase and star-like lights dot the ceiling. Guests will enter the ship through the Grand Hall, which is on deck 3. Decks 4 and 5 look down on it.

Jasmine & Aladdin Statue

Each Disney Cruise Line ship has a character statue in the atrium. The Disney Treasure’s bronze statue depicts Aladdin and Jasmine flying on the Magic Carpet. Plants are in a flowerbed beneath the statue, which is secured on the staircase.

Stage

In the Grand Hall, a man in a suit speaks into a microphone on stage. Beside him, two performers in colorful costumes strike poses among props and suitcases. A blue curtain frames the scene, reminiscent of Disney Treasure magic captured in unforgettable photos.

The stage opposite the statue is for occasional performances and character meet and greets. The Treasure “Sea”kers perform retellings of Disney stories.

The ornate wall in the Grand Hall features blue and orange floral patterns, complementing the adjacent blue curtain and trellis with pink flowers climbing gracefully on the side—a picture-perfect spot on the Disney Treasure for photos or video.

The proscenium features a pattern similar to the architecture of Jasmine’s garden. Light blue panels to the side are decorated with purple flowers and tangerines. Abu is pictured hanging out on a vine. Three-dimensional vines of pink flowers run up the walls.

A colorful mosaic of a tiger graces a decorative archway in the Grand Hall, surrounded by floral patterns and greenery, reminiscent of Disney Treasure photos.

A mosaic image of Rajah, Jasmine’s pet tiger, is on a panel above a flowerbed. The ramp to the stage is behind this panel while stairs are in front.

A balcony above the stage has green curtains and is framed by windows. Characters also appear up here for performances and special greetings.
