To celebrate the theatrical release of “Moana 2,” new treats inspired by the film are now available at Walt Disney World, including the Kakamora Chocolate Piñata from The Ganachery.
Kakamora Chocolate Piñata – $28
Milk chocolate shell filled with coconut ganache treats
The piñatas from The Ganachery always feel like a “once-in-a-lifetime” activity. They’re expensive, and not every one released is worth the splurge.
The design of the chocolate piñata looks exactly like a Kakamora from the “Moana” films, with a pair of chocolate horns tied atop its coconut body. Its face is painted on with shades of red, black, and white. It has pink tubed arms and legs with green straps wrapped around them. The entire piñata sits on a bed of graham cracker “sand.”
The chocolate shell is quality and delicious. It’s not overly sweet but just right. This time, the piñata was filled with coconut ganache treats, covered in dark chocolate and filled with coconut. These were on point. After just one bite, you feel as though you’re in Waikiki!
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season with family or friends, we think this is worth a try. It’s very sharable and makes for a great memory.
