It’s the Most Magical Time of the Year!
After years of planning, announcements, construction, and previews, Tiana’s Baou Adventure is now officially open on both coasts! This week, Disneyland’s Critter Country officially became Bayou Country as the rest of the shops and offerings opened with the new attraction. We will look at the merch, as well as the 3 things you should be doing when you visit the “new” land.
While Disney has been slowly bringing in the holiday season ever since Halloween ended, things really are beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disney Parks! November 15th was the official drop date for all things holiday at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure! There are new food offerings, plastic novelties and entertainment to review.
Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, new holiday updates are coming in every day. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can meet Santa, Juggle with Donald, and get into the spirit of the season with Max Goof! Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the fan-favorite Merry Menagerie is back, along with a fresh fit for Mickey and Minnie for the holidays. EPCOT doesn’t celebrate officially until Thanksgiving ends, but menus for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays have rolled out. We’ll talk about what’s new and what should not be missed!
It’s Life Day today, and Disney is celebrating. You can get a limited edition Life Day Wookie Popcorn Bucket, or honor the day with a new Ren Lightsaber, Holocron Set, and More ‘Star Wars’ merchandise from the parks or online!
Back at Disneyland, they announced more updates for the ever-changing Downtown Disney area and released new concept art for an Avengers store, and more eating options. One of these will be a first-of-its-kind concept for Porto’s Bakery and Café. There are even plans to refresh the LEGO store!
The Q4 earnings call happened this past week, and it was reported that Disney Parks & Experiences brought in $8.24 billion in revenue during the quarter. Also of note on the call, was that Disney actually is banking on the opening of Epic Universe to bring more, not less people to Disney World during the visit.
Also, the Disney Treasure prepares for its first voyage, the Island Tower is only a month from opening to guests, Ariana Grande wants to save the Tower of Terror, and Much More!
