Cast Members Clean Up Oil Leak in Tokyo Disneyland as Park Opens

Tokyo Disneyland experienced an oil leak in Westernland on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024.

Multiple guests shared images of Cast Members cleaning up Westernland, the Tokyo Disneyland version of Frontierland, on X. Oriental Land Company (OLC) said in a statement that the oil leak was caused by cleaning equipment before the park opened. (via ねとらぼ – ITmedia)

Employees were cleaning up the spill when Tokyo Disneyland opened to guests. No injuries or damages were reported.

OLC said clean-up efforts were completed around noon on December 25 and the “Disney Harmony of Color” parade was scheduled to continue as normal at 12:45 p.m. The park is now closed for the day.
