Disney Cruise Line debuted a new bus wrap for their transportation from Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral ahead of the Disney Treasure’s maiden voyage this month.
Disney Cruise Line Bus
The new bus wrap maintains the old wrap’s nautical color scheme. The lower half is dark blue, with a yellow-gold stripe. The top half is white. The roof and bottom are red. The design around the windows turns them into portholes with gold frames.
Mickey and Minnie are pictured near the back of the bus on the side with the doors. They’re both wearing their captain uniforms. Minnie’s is red and white while Mickey’s is blue and white.
The Disney Cruise Line wordmark is near the front of the bus. “Disney” is in the classic cursive front. “Cruise Line” is in a sans-serif font.
Across the front of the bus, below the windows, is a yellow-gold filigree. It features hidden characters and a Mickey icon medallion in the center. This is inspired by the bow designs on each Disney Cruise Line ship.
The hidden characters include Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. They’re enjoying different water activities, like surfing and boating.
On the other side of the bus, the Disney Cruise Line wordmark repeats.
Chip and Dale are hanging out in two of the portholes. They wear sailor outfits. Chip’s shirt is blue while Dale’s is red.
Near the back of the bus are Donald and Goofy, also wearing sailor outfits. Donald is giving a salute while Goofy holds up an inner tube.
The Disney Cruise Line logo and wordmark are in gray on the back of the bus.
For comparison, below is what the buses used to look like. Notable design changes include the addition of Mickey & Friends and the removal of the colorful Disney Cruise Line logo.
Another old design featured Donald painting the bus while his nephews cause trouble, inspired by the stern of the Disney Wonder.
