Universal Orlando Resort shared the update on X.

This is the sixth day in a row that Universal Volcano Bay has been closed. Universal announced on December 1 that the water park would be closed through at least December 5.

With lower temperatures in the winter, it’s not unusual for Central Florida water parks to frequently close. Universal Volcano Bay already closed for three days in late November.

According to Weather.com, the predicted high on Friday is 67°F and the low is 45°F. As the temperatures get back up into the 70s this weekend and next week, the water park will likely reopen. It currently is scheduled to open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.
