Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Volcano Bay, the resort’s water park, will remain closed due to inclement weather.
Volcano Bay was closed today, December 1, and will remain closed on December 2 & 3, likely due to low temperatures. The water park is operating on a limited seasonal schedule and was already scheduled to be closed on December 4 & 5, meaning that Volcano Bay will not open again until Friday, December 6 (weather permitting).
The Central Florida water parks often close in the fall and winter due to temperatures. Typically, they will be closed if the temperature is forecast to be below 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
