Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is closed on Friday, December 6, due to cold weather in Central Florida.

The water park was already closed for much of this week as the area experienced low temperatures. According to the Walt Disney World website, it is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weather.com shows a high of 67°F and a low of 45°F on Friday. Water park closures at this time of year are not uncommon. We’ll likely see Blizzard Beach close several more times over the next few months.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is closed for the season.
